You can withdraw your savings provided they are not pledged as security on a loan. However, we would encourage you to keep your savings in the Credit Union so that:
- They continue to earn a dividend.
- They continue to benefit from the Life Insurance Protection.
- By keeping your savings you have the capacity to increase the amount you can borrow.
Larne Credit Union does not make a profit. Surplus income is returned to you, the members, in the form of a dividend and/or a rebate of interest if you have a loan.
So, whatever you are saving for – a car, a holiday, home improvements etc., Larne Credit Union is the place to join. Have you asked?
