Any person over the age of 16 can apply to join, provided he/she lives within the common bond of membership. The common bond defines the area within which the Credit Union can operate.
In the case of Larne Credit Union the common bond for membership is:
'Residence and employment in the electoral division of Larne and districts one and two of the electoral division of Carrickfergus (Whitehead)'.
